Since Amazon Prime delivers second day air for free I would assume that is part of their losses. How can you afford to ship say a $6 item second day air and make a profit? I love ordering things on Thursday that are supposed to be delivered on Saturday and it almost always comes overnight on Friday ;o)
I have a golf cart enclosure on the way
doors, windows and the bag where clubs anchor is enclosed too
Amazon shipping is amazing!! You can even select Ground and it usually arrive in 2-3 days. I even had one item show up in a day over the Christmas holiday and I selected Ground ship.
They have a “Saved for Later” policy, where a small-priced item isn’t shipped until the total order reaches a certain $ threshold. They’ve done it to me a number of times. I’m not a “Prime” account member, so I don’t get that low-$ shopping/shipping option.
