That just isn’t true. The shooting was still going on when they arrived on the scene. They entered the building, and Lanza shot himself only because he knew they were coming for him. If they hadn’t responded so quickly, he wouldn’t have shot himself so soon, and would have just shot more people. So, the police response saved lives, and they deserve to be commended for it.

Yea, well they do say that much of the secret to sucess in life is just showing up. So, they got that going for them.
