Yep, the lamestream would always throw “Breakfast with Bonzo” (or something similar) at GOVERNOR Reagan.
Divorce was a biggie at that time, so the press would call him a conservative hypocrite. They’d smear him with the abortion law he signed in CA, the suspected affair with Nancy during his marriage with Jane Wyman, B-Grade actor, his AGE, etc.
He stuck to his guns and principles and defeated them. The press would have never gotten away with smearing Sarah Palin, were President Reagan alive. He would have loved her.
