“Don’t you feel a little stupid by siding with Democrats?”
The democrats want McConnell defeated because he is a republican. I want McConnell defeated because he’s a feckless leader and removing him from office is the only way the republicans will get a new leader in the senate.
If McConnell today said he will step down as leader if he were re-elected, he would have my full support. If ANY republican dared challenge McConnell’s leadership within the caucus and succeeded, I would have no problem with McConnell getting re-elected, as I’ve tried to make clear.
But either way, the republicans in the senate need new leadership to battle the democrats.
Tell me, how do you feel about those 3000 "third party" voters who decided Coleman wasn't good enough and they helped elect that crazy man, Franken and because of them, we now have Obamacare. Do you respect them or do you despise them?
