I did a little more research on chicken pox and found that about 90 percent of children got the disease back before immunization, and adults do commonly get the illness ....
.... so maybe my presumption was a little rash.

You can get chicken pox multiple times. I’ve had it 3 times, possibly 4. Got all my childhood illnesses as an adult. Zoster is the only one I’ve had more than once.
For those of you out there who think you can only get it once, it’s not true. Yes, they teach that in medical school but they teach a lot of baloney in medical school. Some good stuff too.
