I had the same thought... the Lord has that babies soul in His care. Lets hope he doesn’t procrete and his line dies out... Darwin award for an unsuccessful breeding strategy...
That line of argument strikes me as unintentionally dangerous, that the soul of an aborted child is within the care of the Lord.
Carry that logic out. An aborted child, having committed no sin, goes to Heaven, yes? Yet through life, you stand the possibility of losing that chance due to your own actions. So couldn’t a mother assuage her guilt in this manner? “My baby’s going to Heaven; he’ll be happier this way!” Ultimately, by this logic, you conclude that abortion is a charitable act of mercy.
And so does Satan smile with glee.
So clearly, ‘aborted children go to Heaven’ is a false premise.
