The declaration of independence does not reference the 2nd amendment either in principle or explicitly. The 2nd amdnement was adopted (along with the rest of the bill of rights) about 15 years after the declaration.

The declaration of independence does not reference the 2nd amendment either in principle or explicitly. The DOI asserts the God given right to revolt. What are you going to throw off such a government with, a strongly worded letter? If patriots are to revolt, then yes, they will do so with arm which in principle they already have.
