An Israeli intelligence source has confirmed Irans Fordow underground nuclear uranium enrichment facility sustained major damage in a mega explosion that occurred last week.
Fordow, which contains at least 2,700 centrifuges for uranium enrichment, is located deep beneath a mountain near the Iranian city of Qom.
Some 200 workers were trapped inside the facility at the time, according to a report published Monday by The Times, a UK-based newspaper.

I’ll just bet some mohammedan thought it was “Bring your Faith to Work Day” and detonated his suicide vest accidentally.
What a tragedy. No, really. I meant it.
Did the Israeli intelligence official’s acknowledgement include a slight snicker (I hope)?
"Hey! Hold muh Koran and watch this!"
From Colonel straight to Major General? He must have done something really right!! Interesting...
Lets hope the story is true and Fordow is a pile of rubble with a whole lot of radioactive muslims around it. Brings a smile to my face.
Protect and Defend
The biggest threat to Israel comes not from Iran but from the Muslim terrorist in the White House.
-— the Israelis have some ballsy operatives who can get high explosives into a secure facility. ——
The only scenario that I can imagine would be the Israelis threatening the family of an employee, forcing the employee to smuggle in explosives. But it’s hard to imagine an employee smugglling in a significant amount of explosives.
My alternative theory is a tunnel. But that’s probably too far out.
Just last week there was a news story about how the US has finally completed work on a giant earth-penetrating bomb, intended for just this type of application. So perhaps the US or Israel has dropped one of these on this factory.
How about an employee who had relatives or friends killed during the '09 protests after Ahwannajihad stole their election? Or someone who's father was tortured to death by the Islamists? There's no shortage of people inside Iran who hate the current Iranian government...maybe they just got a bit of help from the Mossad?
So what is the bottom line here? Does this effectively end the Iranian nuke program? Set it back X years? What?
"She blowed up real good."
The Israeli source is unnamed. And although this article references The Times, in the last line they acknowledge the story comes solely from the WND website.
Possible, but I figured they’d screen for that.

I can't imagine Zero approving its use.

I'm going to guess that after a few months it will be back to business as usual. Just like after Stuxnet.
Hope I'm wrong.
A bomb like that would remove the entire top of the mountain. 300 feet down and hardened can only be destroyed from within.
My bet is on the Saudis with the clandestine assistance of the Israeli’s.
You might want to read some articles about the Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP). Some articles say that it can penetrate 200 feet underground before exploding. Others say that it can penetrate 200 feet of hardened concrete. Also these specs were from a while ago and it has recently been upgraded. Of course do we really know how deep this factory is or whether they have any air shafts? Also the true penetrating power of the bomb is probably classified.
My bet is on the Saudis with the clandestine assistance of the Israelis.
My bet is that since the article seems to have originated with WND, it is probably false.
