Please, don’t be so hard on those Hessian troops, I probably wouldn’t be a citizen of this great (and under duress right now) country if it weren’t for my Hessian ancestry. My ancestors were “wheeler and dealers” and instead of fighting for the British they took 13 acres of land and a cow from Washington, George that was, and went to farming in western Pennsylvania. I guess you could say , it was sort of an entitlement for the times.
