Hillary Clinton talked about her health briefly this evening on 60 Minutes. "I still have some lingering effects from falling on my head," she said. Clinton added, "The doctors tell me that will all recede."
"It's great. It's great," Clinton said of her health. "Now, you know, I still have some lingering effects from falling on my head and having the blood clot. But, you know, the doctors tell me that that will all recede. And so, thankfully, I'm, you know, looking forward to being at full speed."
Steve Kroft, the journalist conducting the interview, asked Clinton about her glasses, but the secretary of state refused to explain the special benefits they might provide to her vision. She'd only say that she suffers from "lingering effects."

in order to appear to have a normal gaze,
she must wear glasses that have

Well what about this Fresnel lens business? I didn’t find the pictures very convincing. They just looked like thick lenses to me. The big “Fresnel” shot was from the side, and I think the appearance was due to multiple reflections, as one sometimes sees in e.g. a glass table or door.
Heh. There was a whole SciAm article on this kind of thing some 10 or 20 years ago. It scares babies, as I remember.

I believe her...when she fell on her head when she was eight!
She’s now got “Biden Brain.” The two of them would make a great team for 2016.
