Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) is voicing confidence in the prospects for immigration reform in the House, saying that a bipartisan group of lawmakers “basically [has] an agreement” after more than three years of secret talks.

Obama is preparing to launch a major push for comprehensive immigration reform with a speech in Las Vegas next week. Much of the spotlight has focused on the Senate, where a bipartisan group is reportedly close to announcing an agreement on basic principles for an overhaul of the system. That group now includes Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a potential presidential contender who laid out his principles for reform in the Wall Street Journal earlier this month.
Another potential White House aspirant, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), quickly signed on to Rubio’s outline.

Does Boehner really think that this will help the Republican Party win over Hispanic voters? The Democrat talking point will be: “we passed immigration reform over the objections of the Repuiblicans. If you vote for them, they will strip away the gains we’ve made.”
I think Boehner is WORSE than Obama. At least Obama lets us know whose side he’s on. Boehner is a Quisling.
Stop asking rational questions! It is our destiny to be enslaved by the invaders from the south, amigo. IF this amnesty thing goes through, the demographics will ensure democrat majorities as far as the eye can see. What the idiot democrat politicians do not understand is that their jobs are on the line.
Example: John Smith, a democrat, wins an election where the republicans always won. He won due to the sudden shift in voting demographics brought by amnesty. Hurrah for the democrats. Next election, John Smith loses in the primary to Juan Ortiz-Rodriguez-Sanchez and Juan wins the general election. Oops! And corruption? John Smith and friends ain't seen nothing yet. Political corruption south of the border is a way of life. And Juan? He is pushing for another amnesty bill that will allow MORE of his amigos to loot the treasury and displace the idiots who call themselves Americans.
Do you think he has just barely the 18 Rinos needed? Or well over that number?
In other words, these morons have effectively made their own party (and power) obsolete.
Let them sign the country’s death warrant. I absolutely refuse to take the part of any candidate who promotes this.
I would guess Boner has about 35-40 RINO votes for Amnesty.

Most of the jobs start at 70-80 grand and top out in the mid 6 figures.

Why again do we have a Congress? It seems everything these days are secret, small-group, back-room deals that are never debated in the light of day?
Where again is the leadership with the 3 day rule? Hell, this administration with the ‘most transparency ever’?
How about writing up what other laws I, as a Citizen, can get away, if only given a certain amount of time while still flaunting having broken said law? Do those that followed the law get some kind of dispensation for, like a dog, jumping through the legal hurdles?
Boy, I can’t wait until ‘14, when those current tight-lipped come back out of the woodwork screaming “We HAVE to vote for the GOPe selected, otherwise, it’s a vote for XYZ”
