It is a true story. In 1930`s here the revenue agents came looking for illegal stills on the farms and were driven off by hundreds of farmers with shotguns loaded with rocksalt. They never came back. My mother and relatives, friends, told me that story coz she was as driver for a hooch smuggler from the town in the mountains down to the lakes. My great-uncle also was involved with liquor smuggling down from Canada. He hid all the liquor in a mountain cave and transported it at night. He had a pistol.

I think one thing that needs to be re-enphacized is how necessary it is going to be to have alternative communication trees set up in advance if it ever comes to house to house raids.
