“After further reviewing the (club’s) constitution, by-laws and internal procedures, the ABOS Board felt that in order to immediately support all military Officer spouses who are eligible for ABOS membership a more inclusive definition of spouse was needed. Therefore, any Spouse of an active duty commissioned or warrant Officer with a valid marriage certificate from any state or district in the United States is eligible for ABOS membership,” the club’s board said in a statement.

My Bullsh*t meter just jumped off the scale.

They got pressure and tons of it.

Why can’t they just say after the base commander ordered us to we took in this carpet muncher, who only wants to join to prove that she can.
By the way the Lt Col. needs to go on a diet.

That is exactly what happened—I can promise you that the active duty husbands were called on the carpet and directed to rein in their wives and do their PC duty. We had a group of wives sign a petition on base years ago, and the same thing happened. The husbands were reamed by the COs under direction of the general.

What cowardly, spineless, leaders we have. GET OUT!
