As I read about people looking into leaving America, I can’t even think of leaving Texas.

Hopefully the one might be an option without the other.

Just sayin' and lip syncin'....

When the petition to secede was signed by over 100k people, many thought it was sour grapes after the election. They haven't grown up in Texas. I'm 61 and this has been talked about for all of my 61 years. If it could be done without bloodshed, I think it would have already been done. We keep hoping things will swing our way in the country, but the NE and California can't seem to sober up long enough to think about what they are doing. IMO, when California comes to DC to get a bail out, Texans will explode. If you want to be like Texas, act like Texas. They just can't seem to admit they are insane.

Many think we are bragging when we just state the obvious, but what we really want is everyone else to follow us. They are too stubborn to admit they are wrong so the divide just gets larger. Texas is a friendly place, but to be honest, the snowbirds and the illegals are changing the character of the state. I don't want to lose the last place on the whole planet I could live. It's OK if you don't like me or agree with me, but don't think you will change me. In Texas, I can still be who I am and shoot the Yankee, baby killin, flag burnin, stool pusher commie bastids, that don't like it.
