Typically beautiful stamps are collected in greater numbers than humdrum stamps.

There is no such thing as a beautiful stamp.

Sure there is ~ always has been ~ i once went through an album a lady asked me to price for her ~ her father who'd been the ambassador from Spain had passed it on to his kids on his death.

The first page had SEVERAL $100,000 value stamps ~ and the rest of the album was like that.

She was concerned that her brother had been taking stamps out of the album and selling them and cheating her.

Those stamps were startlingly beautiful!

She retired early shortly after that.
