“We won the cold war, but they will win the culture war. I think I’ll order a set of language-learning tapes in Russian, just to be safe.”

I’ve developed a serious dislike for about 52% of Americans, including most of Hollywood, and all of the media. I’m not joking when I say I’d seriously consider researching life in Russia.

You might find more economic freedom in some place like Colombia.

Forget Russia, go to Poland! They have the same views and they’re a very out of the way country. I think they’re just about the most down to earth people on this planet. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to move to Poland.

Because of superpower politics and the principle of reciprocity, both the USA and Russia require of the citizens of the other country a visa to visit (cost about $200) and a limitation of about 3 months or maybe 6 months now (new rules came out a few months ago).

Having been there multiple times, I would highly recommend it, especially if you are a lover of high culture (classical music, ballet, opera, etc., etc.) and/or are a committed Christian who would like to see the restoration of Christian values happening after the dictatorship.

Given that, I would also recommend the Ukraine, Slovakia, and other nearby countries for the same humble, hospitable, down-to-earth people, especially if one goes with the expectation of learning from them about dealing with life instead of looking down on them.

I'm going to stick it out to the bitter end. I want my chance to kill as many as these anti-americans as I can when the time comes. I owe that to the founding fathers.
