And I would counter with "...shall not be infringed..." means that all laws, rules and regulations concerning all arms must be repealed. Now let's start the negotiations....

Oddly enough, on all the many many banglist threads, the literal intent of those specific words is not often discussed and/or championed.

A reading of the amendment itself and some cursory research into its background leads one to the conclusion that the Founders intended no prohibition save incarceration.
