The idea is to propose banning 157, and then compromise on only banning some lesser number. Exactly, that way it is a win win situation and who could be against that?
And then next time they will propose banning all weapons and then settle for only the items that are remaining on this list. And so forth until all the weapons are gone except for water guns.

There’s no way authorities would be able to arrest every law-abiding citizen who told them to stuff it if they were asked what weapons they had. They would have to go door to door which would mean potential for a lot of deadly confrontations entirely provoked by the government. It’s all political for Feinstein and the other petty fascists in government.

Under the subject of public discussion for a self-loading rifle ban list, the fact that any of the douchebags proposing have permits to carry concealed is merely a distraction. That's one view.
I happen to feel that any information that helps to inform people about the hypocrisy of public servants like Feinstein is relevant and helpful.

It also doesn’t say anything about Slide-Fire AR-15 bumpfire stocks. Surprising.

Norincos go for north of $300, even beater guns. Russian ones for $400+. Before the crazy train left the station you could still get heavily used Yugos for $250 or so, but I think they are all gone.
Before the first AWB they sold for under $100. Nice unissued ones, too.

Feinstein thinks she is getting somewhere. But what she is really doing is hardening the resolve of patriots who realize that gun ownership is all that stands between us and a communist takeover by the Left.
She's issuing a clarion call to awaken her enemies for battle...not a good idea.
To: NKP_Vet
It’s probable that this list was put forward for the specific purpose of passing a UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECK (as you are fond of using caps) as that is a defacto gun registry. A gun registry is far worse than banning particular firearms and it should be treated as such.

The Ruger Mini 14 is clearly included on her list. The list is in alphebetical order ,,, look in the “Ss” for Sturm Ruger Mini 14 and you’ll see it .

Could you or someone explain to me what it means, this 3-d printer thing? 3-D printers build up solid objects. Fully functional parts of any arbitrary shape.
Not just in plastic, the palette of available materials includes a bunch of plastics, rubbers, waxes (good for lost wax casting of jewelry and precision parts) plaster, sugar, paper, and a bunch of metals including anything from aluminum to titanium to steels to zinc.
If you'd like I can add you to the 3-D printer ping list.

A gun registry is not some harmless thing. Ask Canada. They just got rid of theirs.
Universal background checks prevent me from giving my wife a pistol. I’m not ok with that.
Give no ground. None.

Before the first AWB they sold for under $100. Nice unissued ones, too. In 1993, I bought an SKS and 1000rds for about $160. Chicom, of course. The Russkis were selling for about $100 for the rifle. Then Slick Willy banned the import of firearms and ammunition from PRC.
Bastard.
Of course, these days I wouldn't buy it even if available ... don't want to support the PLA and PLAN.

Let’s not get our hopes up too high, but keep in mind that ObamaCare passed a Democrat House. The House is now Republican (spineless wusses though they may often be). We have a better chance to block this than we did BozoCare.

>i>I dont believe there is any dealer that sells guns, that doesnt record your name and the weapons serial number.
Yes, but it is not registration per se.
IOW, there is no data base that they can reference to find out who owns what, at least on a Fed level.
Unfortunately here in Clark Co., hand guns are registered with in the County, the rest of Nevada it is not required.
