I have always been rather at a loss to address this issue. The logic is broken: "You have been raped, therefore we will commit a second assault on you and in the process commit infanticide." On the other hand, I am not sure I have the stomach to make a woman bear her rapist's child to term.

A character deficiency on my part, no doubt. It's a situation in which there are no good choices.

If you are truly as conflicted as you say, perhaps you should leave it up to the woman?

conflicted and I too believe it is a character flaw of mine and God will deal with me but, today I can’t fix it.
