South Korea has double the population and 50 times the economy of the North.
We don’t have any spare money or spare blood to give the Koreans.
You make a valid point, however remember that behind Pyonyang is Beijing, and we all know what their designs are, and what the endgame is for their saber-rattling.
We’ve got troops is far less necessary places than Korea. Germany for example. What a waste of money.
