You could be right as well. My main point is that we don't know all the facts, and I don't think that knee-jerk reactions without all the facts are all that helpful.
Re: the date of the letter, you could be right, again. But, another possibility is that this type of thing--that is, GEICO and other insurers rejecting/cancelling commercial policies because their underwriting guidelines don't cover certain industries--happens somewhat regularly, but it was only noticed and publicized in this instance because of the date and the current "debate."
I don't care, I'm switching to USAA tomorrow.
