If the government made buggies in the late 1800’s, then we would still have a government factory producing buggies! The USPS business model is dead, yet our money is keeping it alive instead of letting the market bring to us more cost effective solutions...
The only mail we get these days are local bills and junk. Everything else is on line. Packages are more likely to come UPS than anything. USPS is a dinosaur barely holding its head up in a tar pit. It needs to go. Period.
