For example, Harry Reid has been working his damnedest to keep Dems off the record on as many issues as possible. That way incumbent Dems can pretend to be whatever they want to be on the campaign trail. Pubbie Senate challengers MUST find an effective way to attach the Dem to Reid, his Nevada self dealing and his dictatorial leadership over the Senate.

The Republicans need pithy soundbites now. Not one year from now. Reid needs to not be demonized. He needs to be lampooned, ridiculed at every turn by every Republican who has access to a microphone. That is the way the game has to be played. 24/7. Nonstop. That is the way the Dems play. Until the Pubbies learn to fight nonstop, they will continue to lose.

We agree TOTALLY. WHere are the fighters? Why are they cowering or just kicking the can down the road while America is under attack from within?

WHat about enlisting the help/brainstorming with folks like Brietbart.....Project Veritas, etc. We need some fresh ideas that appeal to a wider audience, and we need to play politics/fight back NOW.

Military Scramble Order Overseas:
First, I've got over 26 years working in military control towers, most of them as the watch supervisor/crew chief on duty.
Scrambling aircraft to respond to urgent situations normally starts at the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
The scramble order comes down through a secured phone call on a direct line.
In the attack on the U.S. embassy on Benghazi, the drone control would have been from MacDill AFB, FL, by U.S. Central Command, and would have been in direct contact, or maybe even remote control to the situation room in the White House.

The pResident SHOULD HAVE issued to order to scramble fighters to Benghazi, to get there in minimum time.
Then he SHOULD HAVE issued a second order scrambling AC-130 gunships to respond to Benghazi, and have them stand by for more orders.

This should have been controlled by the pResident, who should have monitored and responded with guidance from his Situation Room,

staffed by men and women from the Department of Homeland Security, the intelligence community, and the military,
all of whom are committed to ensuring that the President of the United States is provided all the information and intelligence he needs to do his job.
