I don’t think that Obama has so much transformed the country singlehandedly, as Rush seems to imply. I believe that he has simply reaped the benefits of a generation that has been very thoroughly indoctrinated by the schools and the media, coupled with an increasingly depedent electorate.

It's a very slick operation they have as well. First Axelrod dreams up a scenario that will pass focus testing.

"The rich can afford to pay a little bit more" ,"its all GW's fault", "Mitt hates women" on and on and on. Once the lie is created and focus tested he mails it to the DBM and several months later the lie has become an issue they actually run on it.

OUr problem is we have no counter for Axelrod.

What did you think about the caller who said one of the reasons obama/dems are winning is they are always playing politics? Rush seemed to poopoo the idea that Repubs could do more of this.

Rush just made an excellent point.

Mitt may not have been as conservaitve as we wanted but He was the only candidate!! To sit home and not vote for him is a vote for zero. Hope we learn that next time. We will never will get a 100% candidate!

I just did a quick google search and one source has Phil M making $45M a year. Now, let's look at how much the government makes as a result of Phil's talent and hard work.

Income: $45M
Fed Income Tax: 39.6% - $17.82M
Fed SSIP: 12.4% - $5.58M
Medicare: 3.2% - $1.44M
Calf State Income Tax: 13% - $5.85M

So, Phil makes a whopping $45M, but the government takes 30.69M of it. That's before we get to property taxes and fees, licenses, etc. The government bureaucratic drones make more off of Phil's talent and hard work than he does!

I'd shrug too if I were in his shoes.

Same here.....and not just low-info voters. Our biggest problem is we have nothing to counteract the media besides talk radio, Drudge, and sometimes FOX. The impact of the media working in concert with the dem party/obama is overwhelming. Talk radio is good for the faithful conservatives and the few who are searching for political truths. FOX is okay, but no great shakes.

I know its amazing. Any way we just heard Rush say that we lost because too many on our side stayee home. Let’s hope that gets a little resonance.
