Only God could judge King Henry VIII on his Judgement Day and no other. The Act of Succession was a declaration by the Monarchy of independence from the Pope and the Catholic Church because the Catholic Church refuse to recognize Anne Boelyn as the legimate wife of Henry.

“...because the Catholic Church refuse (sic) to recognize Anne Boelyn as the legimate wife of Henry.”

With good reason!

PS I did NOT judge Henry’s final outcome. You are correct that only God will do that. I can, however, discern whether or not his actions and their results are good or not.
