It is orders of magnitude easier to manage a message when the MSM is on your side.
It appears that the House and Senate act as independent agents. Each one is stepping on the other's efforts.
In the House, Boehner is expelling people whose ideas are different from his. In the Senate, McConnell is MIA, and the rest are not coordinating any response.
