It’s not the guns - back in those “happier times” kids took their guns to school and participated in shooting clubs or went hunting after school - and no one was massacred. Therefore it must be other societal factors such as the increased exposure to violence in society today via games, videos and music. Add to it the decrease/rejection of biblical based values on how to treat one another and respect.

In the late 50’s, my older Brother was in a Shooting Club at his Middle School.

He took his .22 Rifle to School and nobody went Ballistic seeing a 13 year old carrying a Rifle Case to School.

This was in Long Island, New York, now home for Nazi like Gun Bans and unlimited Late Term Abortions (for the sake of convenience).
