This proposal must have missed the “not to be infringed” part of the the deal.

This is major infringment.

The government is subject to “not infringed” but private individuals and company's are not. An insurance company refusing to insure gun owners does not meet the legal definition of infringement lawyers suing the owners of establishments where shooting occur does not meet that definition either.

Folks should carefully look at the MADD example. It was not government making laws that changed the culture of drinking and driving but the costs imposed by insurance companies, lawyers, and ether's over a twenty year period that made the liability far to costly.

In my view its not the government but economics that will take the guns...
