So the north was so anti slavery that it’s(sic) president when he issued the emancipation proclamation chose only to apply it to the states in the CSA conveniently letting it stand in the northern sympathizing states.

Legally the Emancipation Proclamation could only apply to the states in rebellion. Federal emancipation came with the 13th Amendment. I thought you knew that.

Passed by Congress on January 31, 1865, and ratified on December 6, 1865, the 13th amendment abolished slavery in the United States Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, As it turns out the Emancipation Proclamation was almost two years before the 13th amendment. It is obvious you did not know this!!! Insert snarky comment of your choice here__________!!
