This issue is one of the most frustrating things I have to deal with at work! I have been teaching General Biology for almost 30 years at a community college in NC. I work with several wonderful people of all religious and political beliefs, but they ALL believe in AGW! The textbooks also present this concept as fact. Scientists are supposed to be objective and modify their theories when they discover evidence that contradicts the theory. It’s like this particular issue is so “sacred” to them that they don’t even want to admit that there might be another side to the issue. Without coming on TOO strong, I let my students know that there are many studies that indicate AGW is a bunch of “hot air” and that they should examine all of the evidence before they blindly accept what political correctness says is fact.
Al Gore’s Apple Stock Options Earn Him $29 Million In Shares

Al Gore may have just made close to $100 million from the sale of the Current TV network, but it appears the former U.S. vice president is not done pocketing the big bucks quite yet. Gore this week bought roughly $29 million worth of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock for pennies on the dollar, making him even richer than ever.
A U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Form 4 filed on Thursday shows Gore exercised his option as an Apple director to purchase 59,000 shares of the company for $7.475 a stub on Tuesday. Apple closed at $500 per share on Friday. This means Gore paid $441,025 for stock now worth $29.5 million. Sure beats government work.
Al Gore, the charlatan and hypocrite, is now rolling in his Arab oil money at his seaside villa while flying around the country in a private jet and being driven in limousines to speaking engagement where he berates us for having too big a carbon footprint and being dependent on fossil fuels. It is ironic that the dire predictions of rising sea levels in his movie should have by now inundated his seaside mansion. I also see not a single windmill or solar panel powering his mansion. The man is a total phony yet is still adored by the media.
The big problem is that the State of CA has fully embraced global warming and has restructured and integrated its entire agency directives to combat climate change through regional government. It has become thoroughly embedded in our government through AB 32, SB 375, Cap ‘N Trade, regional Integrated Water and Resource Management Plans, Regional Transportation etc. Its purpose is to undermine the authority of local elected government, place private property under unelected stakeholder groups so that it can be reallocated and economically benefit the elite/bankers.
