No, sorry in California when most of the money goes to unions it is to much, even if the guy were late.
As long as you are forced to pay property tax, the property is NOT yours.

Can't disagree, however, one needs to pay for services received, such as schools, sewers, sidewalks, street lighting, police, library, etc.
Problem is greedy politicians abused that by ever increasing tax rates and property assessments to spend on their own pet projects, not for the betterment of the average taxpayer.
