we used Club 1903s to hunt javelina). It was chambered in .30-06, That's an awfully lot of round for javalina. AR or AK would be a much better Javaelina round. Or .45 ACP in a carbine for that matter. Maybe a lever action .45 Colt or .44 magnum. Marlin camp carbine in .45 ACP would be great.

Not at all. Javs weigh up to 80 pounds or so. 150 grain bullets and clean kills. Good meat.
