To me, today, the Stars and Bars represent a strong slap in the face to the Stateism that is so prevalent in both the democrat and Republican cabals of the Federal government in Washington.
I’d personally like to tell the Feds to go ef themselves. But as I desire to recoup from them the Social Security they took from me for my entire working career, and from which I consider a piece of as some small compensation for having served in the Army during this country’s miserable surrender of what could have been total victory in Vietnam...yeah, I’m going to call them Damned Yankees, and tell them through that flag that they can at least symbolically go the Hell as well.
