MADISON, Wis. (AP) A federal appeals court has upheld Gov. Scott Walker's contentious law stripping most public workers of nearly all of their collective bargaining rights.
Especially those tax $$$-sucking public unions.
ESAD Union goons!!!
Public workers shouldn’t have collective bargaining rights.
That is exactly what took place plus millions in bribes and kickbacks were given to Democrat hacks who “negotiated” these sweetheart union contracts.
What? You thought they did it because they were nice guys? Altruists?
Nope.
They shouldn’t.
They supposedly serve the public.
Not to pick nits, but the right to associate is a basic right, not a privilege, of all free men. While some free men may choose to associate in the form of labor unions, some may not. What Walker has done is not limit the right of association of union members, but protect the right of association of those who don’t care to be associated with unions.
They're not "rights" or "privileges." They're *contracts* between the unions and the Employer (the Taxpayer). The Big Dig has been the Taxpayer hasn't had any decent representation on this side of the table and were (still are) getting raked over the coals with outrageous taxes to pay for these contracts. We still have a ways to go to ease up the burden on the Taxpayers of WI.
Waukesha, Cedarburg, Mequon...
Some conservative towns in SE Wisconsin are in the WOWS counties. That stands for Washington Co, Ozaukee County, Washington County, and Sheboygan county.
Sheboygan, West Bend, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Port Washington, Mequon-Thiensville, are a few of the cities.

Government employees shouldnt have collective bargaining rights. We should reject the use of euphemisms for government. Public schools are government schools, public employees are government employees . . . and society is not the same as government.
Common Sense
By Thomas PaineSOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively by uniting our affections, the latter negatively by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government, our calamities is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer! Government, like dress, is the badge of lost innocence; the palaces of kings are built on the ruins of the bowers of paradise. For were the impulses of conscience clear, uniform, and irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver; but that not being the case, he finds it necessary to surrender up a part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest; and this he is induced to do by the same prudence which in every other case advises him out of two evils to choose the least. Wherefore, security being the true design and end of government, it unanswerably follows that whatever form thereof appears most likely to ensure it to us, with the least expense and greatest benefit, is preferable to all others.
Well played, sir, very well played.
“what are the names of some of the towns in Southeastern Wisconsin that are Conservative?”
Everything between Milwaukee and Madison is quite conservative. Most of rural Wisconsin is conservative. Like most places, it’s only the cities and university towns that are strongly blue.
Check out the new Chief:

I smell another Executive Order brewing.
