I disagree w/Rush on the Fox All Stars...I think they are ALL so INSIDE the Beltway that the NRA ad (what they were discussing) hits too close to home. They probably ALL send their kidlets to a Sidell Friends type school. So ranting on the guards at SF would be problematic for them.

Maybe I’m just dense, but I can’t get my mind around what exactly liberals think they’re going to achieve through “gun control.”

Do they really think banning “assault weapons” and increasing regulation on other guns and ammo will truly keep these weapons out of the hands of criminals and the insane? Do they think it will have ANY affect on inner-city gun violence? Are they that naive? Is this just symbolic from a political perspective? Or do they truly intend to disarm the population to eliminate resistance?

That is THE main problem in general and has been for a LONG time. They LIVE inside the beltway so their perception of reality is what occurs Inside the Beltway. There is very little OUTSIDE the beltway Representation in Washington right now.
