Pete Williams reports that no AR USED AT SANDY HOOK! Only 4 handguns found, Lanza left his rifle in the car. This is why Sandy HOOK was never mentioned at yesterday's signing by Barry.

“Well look. These off the wall theories are no harder to swallow than the lies and deceit Obama and the media are feeding us today”.....amen. if you want to start an argument w/me, you’re gonna have to change the subject. If obama can get away with the birth certificate, Connecticut SS#, etc., etc., etc., & he has unlimited tax $ to pour @ other lies, I’m questioning every dramatic that happens. H*ll, even my Kansas State Senator, Pat Roberts-R, a former Marine, believes the birth certificate is real. how in the sam hill can we figure out wt* to believe?
If an AR15 was used, there would have been plenty of brass around. Any guns used would have been at the scene. Who ids "they"?
I will admit to having not really looked into the specifics since the initial news reporting, beyond bits I read here, but the demeanor of the sister really struck me as unusual.
Bushmaster, though, does not make a factory AR that uses such a configuration. At least one is not shown in their catalog.
While the question regarding the firearms used by the bad guy in this case are interesting they are not relevant to the 2nd amendment and the right to keep and bear arms. The 2nd amendment has everything to do with the rights of US citizens to keep and bear arms so that they may protect themselves from the tyranny of government. If someone commits murder via firearm in a school or on the streets of Chicago it changes nothing regarding the second amendment. Nothing.
The only way the second amendment can be changed is by the people via their representatives by ratification. Such ratification does not involve the office of the president and any president or member of congress who contrary to their oath of office does anything to infringe on the rights defined in the Constitution should be immediately removed from office.
We do to have a gun problem in this country, we have a government problem and it is the kind of government problem we have where our employees in Washington have defaulted on their employee agreement and should be relieved of heir jobs.
We are having discussions about things that have nothing to do with the second amendment other than the illegal removal of our rights under that amendment. There could be a shooting in every school in the country but that does not give anyone in Washington the right to illegally remove 2nd amendment rights.
We do not need to ban guns in Americam, we need to ban the employment of people in Washington that can’t follow the rules that the country was founded on.
A semiautomatic shotgun, most likely a Saiga 12 gauge.
That is pretty funny.
The Sig 556 pistol looks like an AR and has a side charging handle. Wish I could post pics on this PC. It could be easy to confuse it in a melee.
Mama could have been one of the Tacticool crowd and dressed hers up.
I concur. I can’t be sure it’s a Saiga, although it fits the profile. I can be 100% sure it is a shotgun though, because rifles don’t fire shotgun shells.
I totally agree. I am not one saying nothing happened at Sandy Hook, something did, but I am not sure what!
Now, what about the sister’s demeanor? See, I haven’t heard about that.
Yes, and if you look closely, you can even notice the difference in color between the gold bottom of the shotgun shell and the darker (blue I think) top of the shotgun shell. As the shell falls, the gold part, as it rotates up to face the spotlights above, glints when reflecting the light, but when the other end of the shell is in that position, there is no reflection. It’s a shotgun shell for sure.
that is the $64K question...!!!
no *eyewitness* accounts from the victims,911 calls etc... but plenty of early reports from outside witnesses about the guns and other *suspects* being seen, etc...with no follow-up or verifications...
stinks from day one, but we're kooky fringe...
A man with a gun who was spotted in the woods near the school on the day of the incident was an off-duty tactical squad police officer from another town, according to the source.
Does this make sense to anyone? I remember the reports of the guy in the woods, and recall him being dragged past the cameras while stating "I didn't do it, I didn't do it!". Why was he in the woods so quickly, and how?
How can a dead person’s motivation be accurately explained?
Can’t anyone simply ask the people that were there about what weapons they saw?
I listened to the whole news cast on the medical examiner.
What caused me to disbelieve the story completely is he said the bullets were the kind that would basically not go through the body but they expanded and stay there. This brought up a major red flag.
a 223 bullet traveling at 3,000 fps at close range is going to go through the body even if it was a hollowpoint. This guy is either stupid or was paid off.
bobo
“This appears to be old news that has since been proven inaccurate.”
How has it been “proven” inaccurate? By a later report from NBC? Or is there a better source telling us what was indeed the situation at Sandy Hook?
I’m with you guys, I have no use for crazy talk about the shooting having been staged, etc.
But I still don’t have a clear idea of what did happen there, especially regarding the weapons used.
Pete Williams used to work for Dick Cheney, among other positions he held in Republican administrations. I would turn to his reporting before I would count on one of NBC’s real leftists running to the mike to denounce Williams.
Boogie (and I ask you in all sincerity, ‘cause I want some certainty myself) what is your source for the facts about weapons?
p.s. Funky it sure does matter what the punk shot the children with. They are using the incident to ban certain types of weapons and magazines. If those weapons had NOTHING to do with Sandy Hook, their whole anti-AR argument is a sham.
Exactly.
.223 is known to overpenetrate.
