Pete Williams reports that no AR USED AT SANDY HOOK! Only 4 handguns found, Lanza left his rifle in the car. This is why Sandy HOOK was never mentioned at yesterday's signing by Barry.

Okay, I was looking at the wrong guy. You’re talking about the guy straddling the line then leaning over to take something out? It’s still hard to make out what he has. Best I could do was to look at it full screen and increase brightness and gamma to try to see what he has. As they walk away, the front end of what he’s carrying looks like it may be sort of flopping down a little. Maybe a soft gun case?
>>Hi ILS21R!
How are FReepers treatin you today? Need some Tylenol?<<
About the same. Yes some Tylenol would be nice.
That could be. IIRC in the earlier video of them accessing the trunk the shotgun is appears to be taken out of a gun case before they eject the shells from it.
>>So then you’re going with the initial report that Ryan not Adam was the shooter at the school. Okay — <<
Still has nothing to do with what Lanza was wearing that day.
Supposedly, police were looking right at his body. Nobody else. They told reporters what they saw... THAT DAY.
I used to use "bump" or "bttt" but then I got lazy. "bfl" has less letters. Sometimes if I'm really lazy, I'll just use an asterisk -but requires using my shift key. Maybe a simple period would be better. The ultimate of laziness.
Then again, I could just mash my keyboard: "ftyvi" That would really confuse people! LOL!
>>” Lt. Paul Vance spoke out about what he witnessed last Friday.<<
He could have witnessed it on TV. Just like us. It doesn’t mean he was actually there. In what little I watched that day, I could say....
ILS21R responded to a question about what he saw when parents flooded the scene, trying to find their children.
“When they couldn’t find their children, fear set in,” he said. “Panic set in. Pain set in. It was the fear of the unknown. When the notification finally had been made, it was absolutely heartbreaking.”
>>He may be a spokesman as well, but that doesnt diminish his credibility as a firsthand witness.<<
See above.
Well, well. The same ole gang. Forget it Sir Lee. These 2 have more excuses than you can possibly imagine. It would just be easier to stick your head in the sand and just don’t sweat the details. It’s kinda “who are you gonna believe me or your lying eyes”.
Hey Boogie! You ever get hold of Eric Holder for me? I’m still having trouble getting anyone from the Newtown Police Dept to get back with me. Remember? You told me to let everbody know what they said. Right? Well I’ll tell you. They ain’t said jack. But, when they do or if they don’t, I’ll be sure to let everyone know. Just like you asked.
>>No, if Lanza was wearing a bulletproof vest, then he was, and if he wasnt, then he wasnt. It doesnt matter what the media says, they cannot change the facts of the case depending on how they report it. That is simply magical thinking.<<
He was wearing a bulletproof vest. I already explained why.

“He could have witnessed it on TV. Just like us.”
Yes, I’m sure the media asks people to tell them what they saw on TV all the time. Give me a break. When you say someone “witnessed” an event, it means they witnessed it, not that they saw a story about it on the news.
Hey, saleman, you’ve been here long enough to know the rules at Free Republic. Try obeying them —
>>Yes, Im sure the media asks people to tell them what they saw on TV all the time. Give me a break. When you say someone witnessed an event, it means they witnessed it, not that they saw a story about it on the news.<<
It depends on what the meaning of the word “is” is.
Legally, he is not lying. And it doesn’t mean he was there.
And he’s a “spokesman” remember? Where is the chief of police on all of this?
“He was wearing a bulletproof vest. I already explained why”
I’m sorry, but your explanation just don’t make it so.
And the police might have reported that he was wearing a "vest" -- and the reporters might have assumed that that meant a "bullet proof vest" when it was really a "fishing vest".
>>Im sorry, but your explanation just dont make it so.<<
We’ll have to agree to disagree then. But I know I’m right and you’re wrong.
“Hey Boogie! You ever get hold of Eric Holder for me?”
No, because I don’t think you ever asked me to, and I never said I would. You are the one who wanted to know what he was meeting with the police about, and I told you that I didn’t know. If YOU want to know, then YOU should ask him or the Justice Department yourself.
“Im still having trouble getting anyone from the Newtown Police Dept to get back with me.”
I’m sorry to hear that. I hope they do get back to you and clear up the confusion.
“And the police might .... “
I got you to “might” and boogieman to “give me a break”.
I won this time.
Ok what rule would that be.
I’ll tell you what. Just let the moderators figure out what the hell you are talking about.
But just for kicks and giggles why don’t you just go ahead and tell me what rule I broke?
