The GOP is over, forever. It’s downright quaint to talk about them as if they were a force at the national level. The militarist/religious right/anti-communist/libertarian coalition that formed during the Cold War has disbanded. A much more powerful secular/welfare/socialist/union coalition now dominates, and will, until an economic super-depression tears the states apart.

I do agree that a "powerful secular/welfare/socialist/union coalition now dominates" public life. But it has a very short shelf life.....as history shows.

The self-serving progs live in a dark place----they know only (1) the govt as enforcer, and, (2) the individual to be crushed.

Whereas Conservatives are strongly united by love of country----and a dynamic force of issue-centered groups, associations, churches, tea parties, the power of the internet and web sites. There's powerful organizing issues----patriots, military, gun owners, pro-lifers, prayer groups, 1st amendment defenders, Bible study groups.........and on and on and on.

Obama's forces of evil refuse to recognize constitutional freedoms----and refuse play by the constitutiona norms in place.

The Founders escaped foreign domination and structured our govt to protect the citizenry from tyrants and oppression. The safeguards are there----they merely have to be mobilized.

=====================================================

Conservatives have the manpower to conduct democratically-inspired sabotage at every point. Hold up every bill, refuse to fund anything, filibuster, investigate, and so on.

We are in the best position vis a vis the Dem/Prog/Obamanations. That's why we win, they lose.
