#16 - Doctors will ask if you have guns in the home.

The whole purpose of this is to vilify gun owners and make them out to be lunatics.

Maybe we could start with asking if people are pedophiles? You know, people who really hurt children?

Any doctor who asks if I have guns in the home will be answered with "Do you have guns in the home and if not, why not? Don't you care about protecting your family?". I have been known to stand physicians on their head on other issues and look forward to this one.

And if they ask my 12 yo girl the question she will tell them all about her 22 single shot plinker and the training she received at the NRA range.

You may be on the right track. If you think you need guns to defend your home from tyranny a la the second amendment, you must be crazy, therefore, no guns 4 you. Bank on it.

I suspect when a doctor writes a perscription for anti-depressants he/she will then ask about guns , and perhaps report or record your response .

before my doc appt: move guns to garage.
When asked verbally reply “No” (mentally continue “they are in the garage”)
