OK, so I’ll put my ignorance on full display here and ask some questions that I really should already know the answers to.

Can’t Congress simply override these Executive Orders. One thing I’m pretty sure of is that the Executive Branch is not supposed to be legislating. If the Judicial Branch tried to make law I’m quite sure it wouldn’t stand so why would it with Obama?

Secondly why don’t Republicans get vocal on this charade. Ask what Obama has done to actually make the kids safer? Not one damn thing, that’s what. He surrounds himself with children to tug at Americans heartstrings (thus once again byassing their brains) and Republicans act like there’s some actual merit to it. Why don’t they ever fight back?

Congress could. But they won't. For one thing, it would take both houses of Congress to do it. For another, the Democrat Senate wants the President to take action against guns because they don't want to risk it. The last time Democrats took action against guns, the Assault Weapon Ban was signed into law on September 13, 1994. And that November, the 'Rats got their clocks cleaned.

They're Republicans, silly.
