You are correct - Remington being freed of Walmart’s shackles is a good thing... thought they have been a relatively steady source of orders, even when ammo sales have been more normal”.

And yes, they won’t have any issues selling whatever they can make and send out the door - shelves are empty at every sporting goods store I have been to. Big chains, and small mom & pop places all are clamoring for ammo.

But it should disturb us that there is even a bit of truth to the world’s largest retailer falling in line to President Obama’s Marxist maneuvers.

I agree that it should disturb us, but that is life. If you want to be as big as Walmart, then you MUST own up to the feds. But, for gun owners, Walmart is only one player - there are many, many, mom-and-pop operations will will do GREAT with Walmart being out of the way.

The feds likely didn’t factor this all in...but that is then dynamics.
