The word I’m hearing now is that a midnight vote is planned on this in NY (according to SCOPE - Shooter’s Committee on Political Education). Believe me - there are A LOT of New Yorkers who have been calling, writing, faxing & emailing everyone they can think of in NYS politics over the past 2 weeks to make our voices heard (including a good number of us who live behind enemy lines - meaning downstate, particularly Long Island). If you don’t live here, you can’t begin to understand the frustration we’re feeling right now. We put up with a lot already, living in New York. And for many of us, this is the last straw - we’re actively seeking to get out of this hellhole, even if it means leaving family & roots behind, and taking a significant cut in pay. My husband and I bought a fixer upper in beautiful red Lee County in Florida. Hoping to be out of the hell hole of the northeast by summer. I’ve had just about enough.
We have more than enough New Yorkers in Georgia already - please consider alternative states.
