The ‘real enemy’ Doug, is and always has been people willing to trade principle for victory.

All the big capitalized letters won’t change that. We see that in the Bible, we see that in the Constitution, we see it in the speeches and writings of Goldwater and Reagan.

I’ll stick with all the above to guide my politics. You do whatever you like.

Another “real enemy” is people who don’t deal in reality. Like Rush says, “I live in Realsville.” The failure of folks like yourself to live there has given us a second term of Obama. How’s that workin’ out for you? At least we tried to remove a Marxist. What did you do? Nothing but have a little pity party because you candidate didn’t win. You folks are shameless.

I have not been willing to give up principle. We fought for whom we believed would do the best for our country. At the end of the campaign we faced bad choices. Obama or Romney. A third party vote was truly wasted, even though those who cast it might feel good about what they did. Had Romney been elected, to some extent we would likely be in a 2nd Amendment battle after Newtown. But I do not believe that Romney would have 19 points and use executive orders to subvert the Constitution. He would hear from those who put him in office -— us. I would gladly man the bullhorn at the front of the protest. I saw a choice between someone who actually understands economics and wants America to succeed and a guy who hates America and wants it to fail. In my opinion, too many people stayed home because they refused to see the danger posed by four more years of Obama. He didn’t even wait until the inauguration.

We really are not on different sides here.
