The point I was trying to make is that citizens and gun owners should never have accepted even the 1934 gun laws .

Compromising with your enemy only leads to your eventual defeat,or at least makes your work for victory much harder.

I wish the NRA had a history of fighting much harder for repeal of at least the worst guns laws,instead of calling for enforcement of the too many that already exist.

For instance,all those laws banning “whatever” from 1000 feet of a school can be used to effectively prohibit your rights.

My original comment was in regard to the idiotic idea a criminal would go along with any of this and my comment in regard to “legal” weapons was about legally “obtained.”

If I break into you house, steal you gun and then claim it is mine - is “my” gun legal?
