To me, ARs are a lot easier than AKs to field strip. Aks are also harder to put back together, but maybe that is because have a lot more practice with the AR style.
Roger that... sometimes I am slower that a bottle of ketchup.

The Russians have freighter loads full of their ammo steaming across the Atlantic right now. They are Capitalists these days... obama and our government... not so much.

Visitors to the refugee camps of northern Pakistan 20 years ago wondered at the productivity and virtuosity of Pashtoon gunsmiths, who were turning out high-quality knockoffs of British and Russian weapons left and right.
They'll be amazed at what will happen here, even if Barky grabs every gun manufacturer in the country.
Leave the Argentine mags full up with ammo for about two weeks. The spring will take its final set (it’s actually overpressure for the application) and you will be able to load it by hand without the tool and without impact on reliability.
Believe it or not, Walmart and Academy are still having some trickling in on every truck. They sell out in an hour or two from when the desk opens up that morning, but they are getting them in - and you can get a decent entry level rifle that way for about $1K or a little less (neither store has raised their prices.) Also some Cabelas locations are reported to get them back in occasionally.
More involved than my FAL or an AK, though. :P
Different weapon, but gunshop in Houston hazarded a close estimate of $7400 on a Drag SVD now.
How far does 00 shot “drop” at 100 yards (how far do you have to “hold over”)?

I’M SO SORRY! I think I knew that but I forgot.
Make that, “Hide and watch, ma’am.” :-)
ROFL!!!!
THAT, friends and neighbours, is the voice of experience. The description applies to the "Ruger Standard Model" and "Ruger Mk. II" (at least) .22 pistols. I have yet to meet anybody who knows how to field strip the bloody thing, who can describe the re-assembly procedure without using a word like "doohickey" or "dingbat".
Like one poster said, they have to cross three lines.
Yellow Line(now)
Red Line, registration
Dead Line, confiscation
They are even sold out on 80% completed lowers. These have no serial numbers and have to be finished but the average machinist or do it youselfer can complate one in a few hours.
Wow! Pricing is unreal. Guns are the new gold.
