Larry Pratt on the other hand was not trying to reach those low information voters and he succeeded. His talking points, no more gun control laws and eliminate the gun free zones, were not articulated clearly. We're lucky he was on Fox News Sunday and Chris Wallace took it easy on him.
They watch FNS as often as I watch ET. Ie, Never.
Yep, the left is always effective with low information voters using poll and focus tested words to distort the truth and provide "solutions" that won't work.
I agree that Pratt was a poor spokesperson for the issue, but that is why Wallace had him on. Someone from the NRA would have destroyed Tanden so actually Fox was taking it easy on Tanden.
I was waiting for Pratt to question whether universal background checks were effective and practical, not to mention an infringement on our liberties. Is Tanden saying that all private sales must now go through a background check? If my uncle wants to sell me his gun, does he have to go through a background check on me? This is nonsense, not common sense.
Universal background checks equal registering gun owners.
Got a gun? You’re going on a list. The government will KNOW.
Wonder how that newspaper in New York published every gun owners name and home address?
They used the government lists. That’s what a universal gun check collects: Names and addresses.
Now in New York, the bad guys know whose house to go to to get guns. Do you like that, Mr & Mrs Low Information Voter?
All I saw was a smirking b!tch who once worked for the Obama administration tell the nation that she was going to find out who owns guns and who doesn’t with aid from the president. I don’t even own guns and I can tell you that more government intrusion is bad. Fix the culture if you want a real solution.
