So, facts are now what? Opinions?
The facts are just that CBS. If they’re facts, then they’re universal. Meaning not our ‘own” but everyones.
CBS wouldn’t know a fact if one bit them in the @$$.
WOAH!
Evidently I missed the chapter titled “What I Did After my Christmas Vacation”!!
Good to see you alive and typing.
We need 18 more posts to reach 100. Please post something!
Every Sunday morning regular, report in, now!
LoL!
I don't think she actually said that but that's what she meant. I agree, it's nonsense not 'common sense'.
Yep, and the next step is confiscation. After all, they'll argue, you don't need an AR15.
As F. Lee Levin says, "It's the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Needs".
All I saw was a smirking b!tch who once worked for the Obama administration tell the nation that she was going to find out who owns guns and who doesn’t with aid from the president. I don’t even own guns and I can tell you that more government intrusion is bad. Fix the culture if you want a real solution.
Whereas any time anyone in the Purple Nation feels sad, all we have to do is recollect yesterday's Ravens game. Instant recovery of good feelings!
The line-up’s are so sick and lame, I’m not watching the Sunday shows but I still read all the comments here.
Thank you so much for the thread!
Well, thanks, Onyx for checking in.
I understand fully.
So all you who have nothing to say except that the Sunday talk show lineups are awful and lame, at least say “Hi” to the rest of us!
I'm late to the party this morning. It doesn't sound like I've missed much.
I know these Sunday Shows are loaded against any genuine attempt to illuminate any worthwhile subject and but propaganda organs for the Left,... but can't we find somebody who is quick on their feet, knows their stuff, and will stand up for the Constitution and our God-given rights and against these oh-so-clever leftist wordsmith vipers with sweet poison on their tongues? Is our side so bereft of able spokesmen and talent??
Apparently so.
In this entire past month of hysterical, manic discourse over the massacre at Sandy Hook blamed on loose gun laws and lack of "gun safety", we have hardly heard a single Republican "leader" (and pitifully few other "leaders") stand up and clearly explain the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment, and it's current relevance to these moral and historical retards and take the rhetorical fight to this vile and devious enemy. It is soo-o-o frustrating!
Where is our Samuel Adams, our Patrick Henry, our Thomas Paine? Must we always accept being mocked, maligned and shouted down by these bolsheviks when we have the Constitution and the truth on our side?
"Can the liberties of a nation be secure without conviction they are gifts from God?" - Thomas Jefferson
"If the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?" - Paul of Tarsus
On that note, a very casual observation I've heard lately:
The last time somebody tried to disarm us led to a minor skirmish called the Revolution.
....just feels more like 1775 every second, don't it?
Blessed Sunday everyone!
The new scheduled time of the Sunday Shows in your area sux, rodguy911. FNS @ 2:00PM = much too late!
JMHO, there’s far from a shortage of people who disagree with the entire establishment currently occupying “our” government.
The media’s doing everything they can to ignore anyone they can’t simply slander into obedient silence, but this little gun grabbing adventure may just be their Bridge Too Far.
Which they know only too well.
If they can’t make a real attempt (and “real” does not include holding a presser or making a speech somewhere) at “Gun Control” in the next week, they’re going to drop the deal like a bad habit. There just isn’t enough political capital on the planet to spend on criminalizing and disenfranchising every gunowner in the US.
And if they go ahead and push this thing anyway.....well, that oath that I took said “Protect and defend The Constitution”......
Don’t have to talk to do that.
In other words after 12 years and four with zero they don't WTF the mission is? Unreal. Then he says that anything to do with Afghanistan is bi-partisan, both sides have in-put.
What he is really saying is that when the tallys come back and they already are, it will be equally our fault as the lefts.
These guys are really slick when they are not being really stupid.
Thank you for the Sarah threads onyx,I read everyone.!!
Paul Krugman is living proof that if you torture numbers long enough they will confess to anything.
A hat tip to Bray also for the weekly contribution!!
IMHO, you and the FReepers who watch the shows and report back to the Sunday Morning Talk show thread are a wonderful addition to FR.
Thanks again for all your effort!!
I’m almost hoping they stick with gun control for a while.
At least we know they will lose on that one absent an EO that bans all guns which only zero would do.
Once they are through with guns its amnesty so they can stay on guns for a while, IMHO.
