......excellent, excellent points that I agree with totally! As I said in my post, I am against beheading women in any case and for just exactly the reason you cite. Namely, there is NO WAY to get at the truth given the overwhelming MALE bias that exists in the court system in Saudi.
With the male’s word taken as gospel, this beheaded nanny was probably TOTALLY INNOCENT!
Actually ... the low crime rate in Saudi should be clarified and put into context.
There is no street crime per se, as you described when you were walking along the market.
Virtually all of the crimes occur behind the compound walls of influential members of the royal family and Saudi citizens ... but these crimes rarely, if ever, get reported.
