Rubio is a realist. He realizes that deporting millions of people including children is just not going to happen. If this type of measure had been passed when Bush was president and Republicans still controlled Congress, we would have tied up the Hispanic vote for the foreseeable future, but instead those sensible measures were defeated by the xenophobes on the right and now we are facing catastrophe.

BULL DROPPINGS!

First and foremost. We have the GOPe to thank for the large numbers of them already here.

Second. You don’t have to round them up and send them home.

You simply JAIL those that employ them.

Dry up the jobs and they will leave on their own.

We are NEVER going to get the illegal turned legal vote.

Deport every damned one of them, children included. Their parents bear the responsibility for having them here in the first place.

"tied up the Hispanic vote"

LOL, tied up that sizeable percentage we get now, you mean? Face it, they will never vote for Republicans unless the Rs offer them all the freebies the Rats offer them. But I don't doubt that's on the way......Republican quislings are perfect invertebrates.

When is National Security/Border Security “xenophobic”

For the few Hispanic voters we may get pushing Illegal Alien Amnesty (not all Hispanics want Amnesty)...we get a lot more conservative Dems who appreciate getting tough on Illegal Aliens...especially now that the major labor unions support Illegal Alien Amnesty

This “Illegal Alien Amnesty brings Hispanic Voters” is a myth pushed by the Liberal media...something that Fox News has picked up from MSNBC

Hispanics will not vote for GOP just because the GOP is willing to give Illegal Alien Amnesty. Puerto-Rican Americans could care less whether you give Illegal Mexicans and Dominicans “amnesty”...Cuban-Americans the same (they have their own immigration rules due to Castro/Communism).

And, if Illegal Alien Amnesty meant Hispanic votes....then how did McCain, who authored the 2007 Amnesty Bill...end up with 31% of the vote in 2008? (Romney had 27& in 2012)

e xenophobes on the right and now we are facing catastrophe.

What a bunch of insulting bullc*ap. Go to the DUmp where you belong.

So, having hordes of people pouring over our border is Xenophobic?

Any country that wishes to survive will control it's borders.

Let me as you this, what if Americans started pouring over the border into Mexico, do you think they would be accommodated?

You are disgusting.

...that deporting millions of people including children...

How absurd that that leftist liberal talking point is still being thrown out there on a conservative website as if that is the only alternative to giving illegal alien criminal insurgent colonists citizenship.

The states that have passed laws not allowing non citizens to work, go to school, get welfare, get food stamps have seen an exodus (self deportation) of this criminal element to other states that treat them better than their citizens. And many of them just went back to Mexico.

California passed such a law some years ago, but the politicians let ONE liberal judge override the legal decision made by the voters in that state.

Imagine how much better of an economy Calif would have if California Proposition 187 (also known as the Save Our State (SOS) initiative) would have been implemented?

That's not what happened after Reagan granted amnesty.
