Radio host and noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones responded to Glenn Becks criticisms on HuffPost Live Friday, saying he is a despicable person like Piers Morgan who thinks his audience is stupid and has no ideological consistency.
With his sights set on Beck, Jones argued that he had promoted torture and taken all the stuff he has written and neo-cond it only to release it later under his name.
So hes mad that Im getting on hundreds of stations. Hes mad Im getting attention. Im not here trying to be numero uno like Glenn Beck; Im here trying to save our Bill of Rights and Constitution, Jones said.
Jones also found a conspiracy within Becks libertarian views. He said Beck only became a libertarian because he knows the Republican Party is dying, and because most Americans call themselves libertarians, he wants to brand it so that hes the leader and hes the head of libertarians.
Its Glenn Beck that has promoted torture, Jones continued...
Later in the HuffPost Live interview, Jones began screaming after getting a little too fired up about liberty.

That's because you are a conspiracy theorist just like Alex Jones. I didn't want to get too bogged down in the crazy, but a quick glance at your recent posts suggests you also think there is some kind of bizarre conspiracy surrounding the Sandy Hook shootings.
CONTROLLED MEDIA Alex Jones: The 3 Reason Judge Napolitano Was Fired From Fox Business
This video was mostly stupid. And yeah, if Napolitano is pushing 9-11 truther garbage then naturally Fox News is going to want him to have a smaller footprint on their network. The Fox News audience is mostly moderate Republican to conservative, not so much libertarian - and certainly not a population that is going to buy into vicious claims that Bush is a traitor who authorized 9-11. It is no shock that Fox wants to devote less airtime to libertarians and conspiracy theorists. They basically got rid of Beck altogether. Judge Napolitano is still a regular guest from what I've seen. If he feels Fox News wronged him somehow, he certainly isn't making a big deal about it that I've seen.
Look, it's one thing to think outside of the box and develop alternate theories and subject them to scrutiny, quite another to go around babbling about half baked conspiracies that are simply not supported by the totality of the evidence available. The problem with conspiracy guys like Alex Jones is that everything that doesn't fit into their worldview is suddenly a nefarious plot organized by "globalists". It's just weird and it makes anything associated with him look batcrap crazy. Jones did us no favors on Piers Morgan the other night. Made our side look insane. On the other hand, Ben Shapiro argued the 2nd amendment effectively and made Morgan look like a buffoon.
I'm surprised there isn't a law in the U.S. covering, "Almost assaulted". Maybe they'll concoct a new law this year, followed by, "Mean tone" and "Threatening look" laws to go along with the "almost assaulted" charges.
>>This video was mostly stupid.<<
No it wasn’t. Jones is right.
Now move along... sheep.
General response to everyone who replied to my message of standing with Alex Jones:
if you dig deep enough, everyone will have some aspect of their beliefs that you won’t agree with. The point right now is not 9/11, is not Mormonism, and is not conspiracy theory. The point right now is the complete alteration of our country into a socialist nightmare - The end of the american dream.
Lets get that out of the way first, then we can move on to the other debate - Where I will surely back up another person who agrees with my outlook on life.
We are here at Free Republic to maintain our free republic. Lots of you may be anti-semitic, may be racist, or may be conspiracy theorist. That’s not what this site is about, and I stand beside, in front of, and behind of any of you as well.
Our mission is clear, at the moment. Save the republic. Alex Jones may have done nothing but screaming, but he knows how to deal with the Enemy. You keep hitting them, and hitting them with no let-up. Salvo after Salvo because the CNN news-reader is going to only ask you questions phrased in such a way to make you look foolish.
I’m done negotiating with anti-americans. I’m out of breath discussing stats, mathematical probabilities of voting turn-outs, election results, legal orders, crime statistics, and history with these people. They will never convert. Their brains are simply mush.
That would be called attempted assault. If it weren’t for her bodyguard who stepped between them, it looks as though he would have pushed her down. If you’ve seen the video the bodyguard took the brunt of his shoving.
..and in reality, I’m not even talking about the legal aspect, just that he is not our friend in this fight. He is just as much the enemy as the gun grabbers. He is a useful idiot used to paint our side of the issue as freaks.
>>but a quick glance at your recent posts ...<<
I took a long glance at your posts. You’re an atheist lib.
Nothing ever bad to say about the left. Plenty to say against the Christianity and how the Conservatives need to be more like Liberals.
You before the 2010 midterms trying to pump up Obama and shoot down republicans:
“Sorry, but Dick Morris is full of crap. Just completely full of it.
This is the guy who spent a year telling everyone the election in 2008 would be Condi versus Hillary. I wonder how that book is selling now.
Its great that Morris has thrown all in with the GOP, but his predictions tend to be awful and the numbers of pickups he is claiming the Republicans will make have been downright silly.
On Tuesday night he is going to either look like a super sage or an utter buffoon due to some of these predictions - I am betting the later. Yes, it will be a good night for Republicans, but nothing even close to what Morris is predicting. Obamas approval ratings alone are too high (RCP average 46.3) to justify his dart throw predictions of 70-80 seat House pickups and 10 Senate pickups.”
And nothing ever bad to say about Obama, Pelosi, Reid or any other Rat.
And there is more if others care to look.
You’re an atheist lib.
You think the US government knocked down WT7 with a bomb? Or maybe you think Israel did it?
....if you believe the govt story you must LOVE the Warren report...you must not read much. Think it was a spark in the center fuel tank on Flt 800 and that McVay’s truck took down the OKC bldg...you appear to be more of a “crazy person” than Alex! May those chains rest lightly....
ymmv
Personally, I think Alex Jones is an embarrassing nincompoop whose ridiculous fairy tales and conspiracies are easily exploited by conservatism's enemies and the enemies of this nation to smear defenders of the republic.
IIRC, Jones is not only a 9/11 Truther but also claims that the Pentagon was not struck by the airliner carrying Ted Olson's late wife Barbara Olson but rather by a missile. A tiny fringe of people (primarily one family) who attend the Church I attend are committed Alex Jones partisans and share many of his delusions. They are nice folks but very wrong. Alex Jones is just verrrrry wrong.
We need to purge the GOP of the GOP-E before anything we say about Demonrats is relevant. I trust that I have established a track record here as anything but an atheist or a liberal.
Alex Jones is Ron Paul (El Run Paulie) on his worst day on steroids. It is evident that we miss Bill Buckley and his ability to summarily run eccentrics and kooks out of the conservative movement (Randians, Birchers, Conspiracy Nuts, Single Taxers, Students Wildly Indignant About Nearly Everything [S.W.I.N.E., thank you, Al Capp], etc.).
Bill Buckley once referenced the anti-Vietnam War Movement as a public exercise in ideological masturbation. Likewise, obsessing over the Demonrats without having an actual political party to call our own with which to oppose the Demonrats. If I despise Obozo, Biden, Reid and Pelosi as certainly I do, the answer is not Mittler and such spineless unprincipled and $$$ obsessive Establishmentarian weathervanes as Weepy John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell any more than the answer is El Run Paulie, Alex Jones, David Duke or others of their respective ilks.
>>I am a Roman Catholic and a conservative. I often disagree with Longbow1969. OTOH, I have no knowledge of his faith and not a lot of specific knowledge of his political views.<<
Just look at the history. It’s all there. Prove me wrong.
One other thing about libs... they like to write a lot without really saying anything. Just sayin...
I’ll check your history tomorrow.
Typical Alex Jones
And I do not like Malkin, either.
>>We need to purge the GOP of the GOP-E before anything we say about Demonrats is relevant.<<
Oh really?
Longbow1969:
“Sorry, but Santorum isn’t electable. If Newt dropped we would be stuck with Rick enlightening us on the evils of birth control, gambling, etc. Those are giant loser issues. Newt needs to stick it out and wait for the Santorum collapse which is days or weeks away. Once people realize Santorum is doubling as a priest running for President most of them will run as far away from him as possible. “
So basically, you're a nutter then. And yes, I believe the official 9-11 report. If you want to believe debunked conspiracy crap go ahead, I just hope this site will continue preventing you from peddling that nonsense here.
Sorry chief, but Alex Jones is flat crazy. Not only that, accusing Bush of a being a traitor that authorized 9-11 is the worst kind of viciousness. Bush was a badly flawed President in many ways, but to accuse him of those kinds of things is just wrong.
I don’t have time for the link right now, but I’ve been listening to him(Jones) the last few days. I like his passion for the 2nd Amendment and NWO. I am unfamiliar with the Malkin event so no judgement. I don’t think Beck should mock him like he has done. We need to stick together, the calm approach is wearing thin.
Dick Morris is full of crap, just as I said. Heck, the guy just predicted Romney would win comfortably. In 2010 he was predicting the Republicans would win upward of 70-80+ (he was actually talking about upward of 100) House seats and 10 Senate seats, we didn't come anywhere close that. We ended with 63 House pickups and 6 Senate seats, which is much more inline with what most experts were predicting (the consensus was generally mid 50's in the House and about 6-7 Senate seats).
I took a long glance at your posts. Youre an atheist lib.
LOL. I am most certainly neither of those things and if that is what you got out of my posts, then your dimmer than I expected. You just reposted an old comment of mine which demonstrates I was right.
Look man, you're a conspiracy nut. You're a follower of Alex Jones who is mostly banned on this site and almost every other serious conservative outlet. There's just not a lot more that need be said. Alex Jones is a disgrace. That you associate with him makes you a disgrace in my book too.
PS - there's no Sandy Hook conspiracy. Will the Democrats try to take advantage of it? Sure. Does that mean Democrats, "globalists", neo-cons, Israel, Jews, the Bilderberg Group, the Defense Establishment, FEMA camp guards, etc, conspired to kill a bunch of kids to ban guns? Most certainly not.
Umm, I don’t believe Santorum is electable and I wish Newt had stayed in. So? What of it?
>>Dick Morris is full of crap, just as I said. Heck, the guy just predicted Romney would win comfortably. In 2010 he was predicting the Republicans would win upward of 70-80+ (he was actually talking about upward of 100) House seats and 10 Senate seats, we didn’t come anywhere close that.<<
And now you’re a liar just like your pal Obama.
“Asked if he is predicting that Republicans will win 100 seats in the House, Morris tells Newsmax: Im not predicting 100, Im predicting 60 to 80. But I fantasize 100, and I think that fantasy may come true.
http://www.newsmax.com/Headline/dick-morris-midterm-elections/2010/10/29/id/375353
You: “Yes, it will be a good night for Republicans, but nothing even close to what Morris is predicting.”
Hey dumb f, 63 is between 60 and 80.
It wasn’t a “good night”, the House turnover was historic azzhat. Besides, why would you trying raining on his parade on a conservative blog dumbazz? (hint... you’re a lib.) Oh.. but “Obamas approval ratings alone are too high (RCP average 46.3)” Right, you worship Obama.
“Umm, I dont believe Santorum is electable and I wish Newt had stayed in. So? What of it?”
Then just leave it at that azzhat. But you couldn’t could you? Had to throw it this... “we would be stuck with Rick enlightening us on the evils of birth control, gambling, etc. Once people realize Santorum is doubling as a priest running for President most of them will run as far away from him as possible. Why would you say “doubling as a priest”? What good does that do around here. (hint... you’re an atheist.)
I’m right. You always knew I was right and now so does everyone else.
You're a conspiracy nut. Period. You're someone who backs Alex Jones, the same Alex Jones that is largely banned right here on FR. The same truther Alex Jones who believes 9-11 is a government plot. That you believe that sick stuff blares loudly to everyone that you aren't too bright.
The stuff you are cutting and pasting from my past posts simply shows that I was right. The 2010 election wasn't just about House seats you dimwit, there were also a lot of Senate seats up for grabs and Morris predicted we'd win 10 and take the Senate.
Hey dumb f, 63 is between 60 and 80.
Listen, I don't know if your brain is this addled because of all the goofy conspiracies you buy into, but the 2010 election came out about how most analysts figured. The consensus was generally mid 50's for House seats and about 6-7 Senate seats. We won a few more House seats than most predicted, and equal or just a little less on the Senate side. Morris was wrong. He was predicting far more. You pull one quote from Newsmax where idiot Dick Morris says he thinks his fantasy of 100 may come true, but he was pointing to the possibility of 100 on Fox many times. Do you not know what a buffoon Morris is? Or that his predictions tend to be horribly wrong? I mean, come one, this is the guy who wrote that ridiculous Condi versus Hillary book.
Then just leave it at that azzhat
Why? I can leave it anything I want you conspiracy loon. I don't think Santorum can win a national general election. Nor do I want a nominee telling us why he believes contraception is "not okay". We are electing a president, not a priest. I look to the church for spiritual guidance, not elected officials.
Dude not only are you a nitwit who spouts Sandy Hook conspiracies and actually believes the drivel Alex Jones spews, you are not good at this debate stuff. At least if you're going to go digging back through posts that are years and years old, find something I was actually wrong about.
>>You’re a conspiracy nut. Period.<<
And you’re a lib atheist Obama supporter. Period.
>>Morris was wrong.<<
Morris was right. I just proved it with a link. Get somebody to read it to you. All you have is BS.
And you didn’t answer my question: Why would you try raining on his parade on a conservative blog? You think you’re helping? Then you must have a mental disorder (lib).
>>Nor do I want a nominee telling us why he believes contraception is “not okay”. We are electing a president, not a priest. I look to the church for spiritual guidance, not elected officials.<<
But Santorum isn’t a priest. He’s a man with a moral opinion that you don’t like. So what? You think he would have outlawed all contraceptives by executive order? Are you that dumb?
You’re a lib troll. The best part about it.. you know I’m right, but you just can’t believe I caught you.
I think Alex Jones is still pissed about Beck and his crew making fun of him for sucking up to Charlie Sheen a couple of years ago. I happened to catch Beck’s show that day and I believe it was the funniest 10 or 15 minutes of radio I have ever heard. They had a lot of fun at Jones’ expense and if Jones heard it I don’t think he would ever forget it.
